What we collect
When you sign up we collect your name, work email, company, and password (hashed). When the widget runs on your site we store conversation transcripts and visitor metadata (browser, locale, referrer, page URL).
- Account data — name, email, company
- Conversation data — messages, timestamps, AI confidence scores
- Visitor data — anonymous unless you call Praatbox.identify()
- Billing data — handled by Stripe; we never see card numbers
Where it lives
All data is stored in the EU, in Frankfurt (Google Cloud europe-west3). We do not transfer personal data outside the EEA without explicit DPA-grade safeguards.
Who can see it
You and the team members you invite. The Praatbox engineering team only with a paged-in incident and a logged audit reason. We don't sell, rent, or 'enrich' your data.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can ask for export, correction, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Email privacy@praatbox.com — we respond within 30 days.
AI training
We do not train any AI model on your private conversation data. Public, opt-in feedback may be used to improve the auto-classifier — and we tell you when it's enabled.
