What we set
Praatbox uses a minimal set of strictly necessary cookies on the marketing site and dashboard. The embedded widget uses localStorage, not cookies, on your visitors' browsers.
- px_session — keeps you signed in (httpOnly, 30 days)
- px_team — remembers active team (1 year)
- px_csrf — anti-CSRF token (session)
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics — cookieless, EU-hosted, GDPR-compliant. No cross-site tracking. No third-party trackers.
On your visitors' browsers
The widget sets one localStorage key (praatbox_session) to maintain conversation continuity across page loads. No cookies. No fingerprinting. The visitor can clear it from the widget menu.
Opting out
You can use Praatbox without any analytics — set the data-noanalytics flag on the widget script tag and we won't even count opens.
